Prayer Room

We at New Vision Ministries believe in the power of prayer. Thank you for joining us in our prayer room, where you may pray for the needs of others or post a prayer of your own.

“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
Matthew 18:19-20 (NKJV)

I prayed for this

Prayed for 3 times.

Dear New Vision Ministries:

First, thank you for this Prayer Room. The Word of God says...to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving to let your request be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). I believe God's Word and accept it with all my heart.

Here's the deal...For weeks, maybe a few months, I have had this longing to be someplace else, or it's more of a tugging. But I don't know where to begin or where to go. I feel as though it’s the Holy Spirit. I do not want it to be the Devil trying to send me someplace and kill me!

Honestly, I can hear God speak to my heart. About a couple months ago, the Lord whispered to purchase a few groceries for a lady in a blue coat. I replied, "Yes Lord." So, I went to the store and I asked Him..., "Lord, what do I need to get?" And He showed me this time, the Lord said, the basics: Milk, Eggs, Bread, Cereal, Orange Juice, and to place $10.00 in the bottom of the bag. This was a Saturday morning. All day long while visiting friends & shopping, I discreetly searched for a woman in a blue coat, but I never saw her on Saturday. Then Sunday came, I went to church--searched for a blue coat in church service, but found no one. Finally, the Lord said, "Be anxious for nothing...verse 4:6-7).

Later that Sunday afternoon, I had forgotten about the lady in the blue coat. The groceries were in the refrigerator. I told a family member that I had to run an errand for allergy medicine. The Lord whispered, "Grab the groceries." I did. Placed them in the floor behind the driver seat. Low and Behold, on my way back home, I see an older lady walking with a large blue coat on. I shouted, "Lord! Is this her?!!" The Lord whispered, "Yes, pull over and give her a ride." I replied, she is not going to ride with me. Too much is happening nowadays. I continued and did what the Lord said. Pulled up next to the elderly lady and asked if she wanted a ride. She said, "Yes, I prayed for you to come. I am tired of walking." I explained that I wouldn't do anything to harm her and she said, "I know. I feel safe. I prayed for you to come, really for anybody to come." I asked where she lived. It was close by. She explained that she had walked to Wal-Mart to get a prescription filled. The medicine was so expensive that she didn't have enough to get the "basics." I asked what the basics were. She mumbled..."eggs, milk, bread, orange juice, coffee, etc. you know the basics! Breakfast food." I said, "Yes ma'am. I know." Finally, we reached her home. I asked whether I could bless her; and she replied, "Yes, I am grateful for anything." I grabbed the bag and gave it to her, she accepted it and repeatedly said, "Thank you." We departed ways...and this was the most rewarding feeling I have ever felt. To God be the glory!

My prayer request is: I need to hear from Him again. I am lost without my Missionary work. I feel so unfulfilled at work. In fact, I am bored to death. Why haven't the Lord given me another assignment? This longing or tugging feeling that I have... I know it’s from the Lord. But where do I go? I don't want to take the wrong road and end up someplace evil. Please pray that I am guided in His direction, doing His will, for His people in Jesus' name. Amen.

Thank you.
